I am Chris Willis, and I am again joined by my good friend, Stephen Taubbert.

Stephen, it's been a minute.

It's good to be back with you.

You know, obviously, season didn't end the way we

hoped, and I think this is the first time you and I have been back since the loss in the division

series. Yep, what's up, my friend? It has been a minute. It's been, I think we figured out about

three weeks since you and I've done one of these, and obviously a lot's happened. The season ended

since we last talked, and yeah, it was an abrupt end to a really fun season and, you know,

it was a bummer that it ended so quickly and so early, but, you know, that's baseball. It's just

baseball sometimes. But yeah, man, it's great to be on. Obviously the fact that we're on now today with the first day of the off-season,

the Rangers helped us out by ending the World Series pretty quick.

And we've already got some off-season news to talk about.

But it's always good to be on.

It's always good to be back on with you, buddy.

Yeah, the Braves gave us something to talk

about real early this morning when uh they announced a three year deal for joe himina is uh worth

twenty six million dollars i think this is going to pay him eight million uh next year and nine

million in the last two years of that contract.

I think this caught all everybody surprised.

You know, there is a possibility that this deal was done several days ago, but they

held off announcing it because of the World Series.
