Stephen the Braves pulled out a 7-2 win over the Washington Nationals today on opening day,

but the injury to Max Freed put a damper on the evening. What was your thoughts on the freed injury? I guess that's the best place to start with

Max Free. We'll talk about the game here shortly. But, you know, obviously not what you want

to see coming out of opening day, especially when you've already got two rookies penciled into the

rotation. Yeah, it was a weird feeling today, right?

Because it was opening day, which should be a national holiday, in my opinion.

It's one of the best days of the year.

And, you know, the brace hadn't played well on opening day in a couple in a few years.

You know, it's not really a day.

They typically do well. And they're playing a day game, which is another thing they don't typically do very well.
