Hello everybody. Welcome to another psychedelic today podcast. This time we have two

Englishmen called David. Me, David Trapkin and the one and only Professor David

Nut. Fantastic conversation. I literally had the strategy of let's talk about

everything and anything. Squeeze it in to an hour. So we go all over the place. We had the

opportunity of talking in person at Toronto, the From Research to Reality Conference last month.

Wonderful to meet him. He's been a legend in my life back in England because he's outspoken because he believes

in the truth, you know, that we deserve to know the truth around science and around drug

policy.

So it's just a fantastic person, wonderful sense of humor and incredibly down to earth for one of the most

kind of quoted and cited scientist researchers in Britain to be that down to earth and approachable.

What a gift that is.

Another gift to his I noticed is his role at Imperial College being a mentor and figurehead

for so many junior scientists kind of

coming through the ranks. You know, obviously Robin Harris and Ros Watts, but a lot of the

current cohort of scientists that are going through Imperial that really look up to him and I got to

chat with quite a few of them in Toronto. It's kind of that

farther figure that brings authority, respect and confidence in doing this groundbreaking work
