And today on the show, we have Marcus and Amber Capone of Vets.

They are doing really important work and read this little story from their website.

Vets was founded in 2019 by Marcus andambor Capone in response to the growing

veteran health care and suicide crisis. Marcus, a retired Navy seal left the military in 2013

after multiple combat deployments. Marcus and Amber soon realized that the subsequent years

would be wrought with escalating hardships, misdiagnosis,

a broken veteran health care system, and desperation to find a meaningful solution before it was

too late. We recorded this a few months ago, and I've been a fan of their work for a bit now.

They do kind of a combination of 5MEO DMT and Iboga or Ibocaine.

And they work with some really cool doctors and practitioners.

It's a nonprofit.

So everything you donate goes to help this, this project and gets people treatment.

Typically the treatment's overseas.

The results are pretty incredible from this protocol.

So I'm, you know, this, there's so many veterans with so many issues and they need help, right?

We need these people to be back in part of our culture,

not, you know, just suffering out there,

trying to work through these psychiatric meds

that they don't really want to be on often.
