Today on the show, we are honored to have Dr. Kyle Ortico. Dr. Ortego is a clinical

psychologist and the founder of the Center for Existential Exploration, which supports people

exploring profound questions about identity, meaning, life transitions, and psychospiritual

development. He also serves on the advisory board of psychedelic support, an online training

and clinician directory for legal psychedelic informed care. And you can check them out at psychedelic.

Dot support. Really great resource if you're looking for an integration therapist or somebody that

is, or a clinician therapist that's psychologically literate. And he also is on the board of Project New Day, a nonprofit organization,

providing harm reduction resources for people using psychedelics in their addiction recovery

process.

And for the past several years, Dr. Artigo worked at the National Center for PTSD, where he

collaborated on technology development and

implementation projects, ranging from apps like mindfulness coach to online programs like Webstair.

And Dr. Artigo also earned his PhD from Emory University and was certified as a psychedelic

therapist or trained as a psychedelic therapist at CIS and mentored under

Bill Richards. And he's also the author of a book called Beyond the Narrow Life, A Guide for Psychedelic

Integration and Existential Exploration. And so this is the book that we actually get into today

and kind of go over his framework for integration. I thought he did a really great job with the

book. I was really impressed, but here's a little snippet from the publishers page. The book
