Today in the show we have Erica Rex.

She and I talk about her new book, Seeing What Is There.

Subtitle, My Search for Sanity in the Psychedelic era. And I loved this book.

I got a chance to read it early.

Blurbed it.

And I was thankful for my friendship with Erica and her continued engagement with the space

despite a handful of obstacles.

So I think you'll really get a handle for what the book discusses in this

interview. If you're interested in kind of women's perspectives and psychedelics, this is a really

helpful read. Erica has survived a lot. I tried to work through pretty robust trauma history. And we get into some of that

in the show and challenges around psychiatry and the psychiatric apparatus. So it's not ever easy, right?

Like if your problems are mild, maybe it's easy, but if your problems are real

substantial and getting in the way of your life, then odds are it's not going to be an easy go. So

I think Erica did a lovely job with the book. I'm really just thankful that we can keep checking in

and doing stuff together. And I hope you all check it out. The audio book is lovely. Definitely
