In like Twitter's instance, people can't really combat it because what happens? You get banned. You get visibility censored. You get shadow banned, the shadow bane that doesn't happen.

But in the real world, people lose the courage to go, no, you're foolish. No, what you're saying is wrong. Prove, do you actually know anything? Talk to me about the vaccines. Why are you wearing a mask?

This stuff doesn't make any sense. That's the thing that doesn't happen because of operations like this that leads to that. It's the same thing that's happened historically. I mean, this is it. This is the communist Nazi takeover. It's how it works. Now we just have tech.

Yeah, and you know, some academics would criticize you for saying the communist Nazi takeover because they believe those things to be at odds with each other. At the end of the day, you have an authoritarian leader or leaders and you have people eating dogs in the street.

So I call it all communism. It's also all fascism. You're talking about authoritarianism, totalitarianism and people forcing their ideas, beliefs and worldview down the throats of other people. That's what it used to be, right?

So what we all speculated was happening was, oh, all these lefties run Twitter and they're just forcing their point of view down our throats. It's actually much more fascistic than that because they were actually like the, if you consider the digital world a reflection of the real world, the actions that Twitter is taking is a use of force, right?

They are using force against people without those people's knowledge, but they're damaging them. And that's quite fascist and a tactic used by communist. So, you know,

that's why I use the academic definition somewhere else.

Well, no, that there's a reason I use I say that it's I'm not just saying like because, you know, oh, I don't understand. Well, there's a difference. You're knitting like no, I say that specifically because people always use those things at odds.

And it betrays the fact that you're missing the bigger picture, which is that you're getting the exact same result. And the way I view it, I use that for a reason because

they're the exact same thing. And in reality, people will argue, well, oh, but the, you know, in this one, we have industry emerging with, you know, this and blah, blah, blah, blah, blah, all this bullshit.

But it's the exact same thing. It's just achieved by different means using a different ideology to justify the horrors that they are actually perpetrating, whether it be free speech or, you know, violence against people.

And this power coalescing up through whatever different relationship it is with whatever authoritarian power, be it call it the federal government or whatever.

And, you know, the private sector industry, you know, the beans of production, whatever, whatever ideology you want to call it. It's the same thing.

It's just implemented in a different way and they use, they use different buzzwords. That's all it is.

Let's go on 25 Roth wrote quote, the hypothesis underlying much of what we've implemented is that if exposure to EG misinformation directly causes harm, we should use remediations that produce exposure and limiting the spread reality of content is a good way to do that.

Yeah, this is good. He added quote, we got Jack on board with implementing this for this is good. We got Jack on board with implementing this for civic integrity in the near term, but we're going to need to make more

robust case for civic integrity, Jack was on board with elections is what that means. Yeah.

And I think somebody at the beginning of the show said, I don't think Jack was involved in this. I think he just, you know, had taken for a ride. Nope.

Nope. Sorry, guys.

So we got Jack on board with implementing this for civic integrity in the near term, but we're going to need to make a more robust case to get this into our repertoire of policy remediations, especially for other policy domains.
