All right, hello, everyone, and welcome back to Making the Argument. We've got a special guest today,

and we're going to be discussing a variety of topics. But it really centers around a couple of

core ideas, and one of them is this idea of the woke mind virus, right? And we've heard people

from James Lindsay to Elon Musk talk about this, and how do you properly define it?

And a lot of that is somewhat difficult.

But essentially what we're dealing with is something of a combination of critical theory,

Marxism, postmodernism, deconstructionism, and a couple of other isms.

But what that all translates into is this ideology that seems to believe that the entire world

is broken down into oppressor or oppressed, that any sort of disparities that you see within

the world can be explained by this very narrow view of reality in the world as we see it.

And probably the most frustrating thing people have witnessed about this or recognized

about this is the idea that when somebody becomes immersed in this ideology,

it almost becomes impossible to talk to them.

When you present facts or evidence or anything that contradicts that worldview,

it's almost as if they respond like you questioning them is proof of the very thing

that they're trying to tell you exists.

And what that means is it creates this condition where all of a sudden their beliefs,

their ideas are completely unchallenging.

You can't challenge them at all

because the moment you do, you're a racist, you're a sexist, you're a bigot, you're a homophobic,

a transphobe, whatever it is. They shut down the debate and that's it. And it's almost like this
