Um, Bowman is the best part of this movie, and I wish she was in it more because everyone, we are discussing Robert Lee King's

Psycho Beach Party, a comedy horror film from 2000 and a cult hit, I might say.

Oh, yes.

Yes, we have had numerous requests for this title over the years.

This is a first time watch for me. and I can say, I like it.

I don't love it.

I can understand why it's a cult film as opposed to a smash, but I can definitely

understand why people get a chuckle out of this one.

And we should say that we're covering this because this is the film's 25th

anniversary this year, which, oh my God. I did see this. Oh, God. I was probably in high school

when I Netflix rented this. And I liked it. Right. But I didn't like you. I didn't love it.

And I remember I kept thinking, like I felt like some of the humor was off. I laughed quite a bit, but then I also thought there were a lot of clunkers. And I thought there were a few too many elements where nothing was being served in the right way. And I got to say, I was interested to see how this would hold up after revisiting it because I haven't seen it since, you know, about 20-ish years ago. Okay. So one and done. And then you were like, I'm a different person now. Maybe I'll appreciate it more, so on, so on. Exactly. And I kind of feel the same. I think there is some gorgeous production design of this movie. I love the comedy. It feels, I mean, this feels like a beach party movie in the year 2000. It is so fun to look at.

I don't think the script is fully there for me, though.
