Hey everyone, hope you're all doing okay.

I'm Kat, Deputy Editor at Sudapod, your host for this week,

and I'm excited to tell you that for this week, we have the Story Steeler's Night by Madhu Campbell.

And this story is the Sudapod original. Madhu Campbell grew up in India and currently lives in

California with three cats, two dogs,

one baby, and a very patient husband. She writes science fiction, fantasy and horror stories

rooted in the histories, mythologies and experiences of South Asian communities. Her work has

recently appeared in Boudry Gothic magazine and she graduated from the Wayward Wormhole

writing workshop in 2023. You can find more of her writing at her website and we'll put the link

for that in the show notes. And your narrator for this week is Suna Darcy, who is an Indian,

Dutch musician and writer who studied and worked in

theatre and dance in the Netherlands. Performing has taken her all over the world. With her wife,

she is a live-in member of the Lodge Arts Collective. She records and performs in EBB,

fronted by Texan prog rock artist Erin Bennett and all-woman

metal outfit Crow.

Sooner is currently working on her poetry collection and her first novel.

In 2017, she was nominated for a BSFA Best Short Fiction Award.
