A phantom stalks the halls of Sudapod towers, a phantom made of terror, disconcerting,

and really scary things. That phantom is Sudapod. That phantom is here now.

Yeah, 2021 is over and we're still here. We survived. We're the final girl bruised,

battered, bloody, and having some serious PTSD, but still standing. And like any final girl in a

horror franchise, we'll have to do it all over again in the next one. But for the moment,

let's celebrate that we are standing over the killer instead of the other way around.

The title of this episode down in the park isn't a reference to horror involving municipal

green spaces. It's actually a nod to this song by Gary Newman, a pioneer of the new wave synthesizer

music genre in the late 70s and early 80s. Seriously, listen to it and it is very early 80s.

The song tells of robots with human skin called mechman terrorizing humans in a park

for the supposed an entertainment of others. We have many names to these beings,

pod people, steppet wives, replicants, terminators, westworld hosts,

the fear that the surface you see in what has been neat that are not the same. Yes, you could be

paranoid, but maybe you're just paranoid enough. Our first story,
