in the 2020 anthology Monsters, Movies and Mayhem.

Its author is Luciano Morano, he's an American journalist, photographer and author.

His award-winning reporting, both written and photographic, has appeared in numerous

regional and national publications, and he was named a 2018 and 2020 feature writer of

the year by the Washington newspaper, Publisher's Association.

His short fiction has been featured in several anthologies, including Monsters, Movies

and Mayhem, which was the winner of the 2021 Colorado Book Award for Best Anthology, Crash

Code, a 2021 Splatter Punk Award nominee, The Nightside Codex, and Years Best Hardcore

Horror Volume 3 among others, as well as the podcast, Sudapod and Horror Hill.

Originally from rural western Pennsylvania, Luciano now resides New Seattle, where he's

currently at work in the novel and seeking representation.
