This week's story flashed on the borderlands 56, the heart's filthy lesson.

Hey folks, welcome to Sudapod, the weekly horror podcast. I'm Alistair, your host,

and this week's subtitle references entirely coincidentally, by the way,

one of my old tone favourite pieces of music. The heart's filthy lesson is best known as

playing over the end credits of 7. It is industrial, eternal swagger, from first note to last.

David Bowie's character, Detective Nathan Adler, it was a whole thing, whole concept album,

in the song, but moaning the lack of relationship he has with tyrannical futurists Ramona East

Stone. This leads to one of Bowie's, I would argue, finest lines. Oh Ramona, there was only

something between us, other than our clothes. And all in all, it's a song that makes my dark little

goth parts sing. It's nasty and funny and too clever for its own good, over indulgence and

operatic and I love it. And it also brilliantly was briefly entirely about English landscape painters,

more details in the show notes. Because the heart's filthy lesson is manifold and present,

and we have so much to look, so little time. And that brings us to the woman the spider's

loved by Corey Johnson. This first to be had been an ultimate peanut and was reprinted in

Corey's 2020 collection, I'll tell you a love story. Corey is a graduate of the Northeastern
