Hello everybody. Welcome to Sudapod, the weekly horror podcast. I'm Alistair, your host.

Our story comes to us from Steve Razznick, 10, and it is read for you by David Powell.

Here are a few details. The story was first published and it came from the

multiplex published by Hex in September 2020. Steve Reznik Thames writing career

spans over 40 years including poetry, plays, short stories stories and novels in the genres of fantasy,

S. F. Horror, crime, regional fiction set in the Appalachian South, as well as a less

classifiable imaginative prose more than one critic has called

Temism. His collaborative novella with his late wife and Melanie Tem,

the man on the ceiling, won the World Fantasy Graham Stoker

and International Horror Guild Awards in 2001.

He's also won the Graham Stoker International Horror Guild and BFA awards for his solo work.

Steve's Southern Gothic novel, Bloodkin Salaris March 2014, won that year's Bramstoker Award 2.

Steve is intensely prolific and has published over 450 short stories and a significant number

of collections, the most recent of which are the YA-oriented, everything is fine now, from the

superb Omnium Gatherum in 2019, and the Night Doctor and other tales from Centipede in 2019.

Your reader for this week is David Powell. David says I have taught school, directed plays, played music and played zombie extras but now I write

full-time seeking out the pockets of Chaos Brewing in the corners of the grid.
