Hey everyone. Welcome to Pseudipod, the Weekly Horror Podcast. I'm

Alistair, your host, and this week's story was first published in Muncie's

magazine in February, 1993.

Its author, Todd Robbins, attended Washington and Lee University

and along with Mark W Sheaf and Thornton Whitney Allen, wrote the college song Washington and Lee

Swain there. She wrote the tune in 1905.

Allen set the music down on paper in 1999 and Robbins provided the words.

The completed version was published in 1910. Just imagine how much

faster that would have been if Slack had been around. Robin's authored two

short story collections and several mobles. His work often contains bizarre

and frightening plots, sometimes influenced by writers like Oscar Wilde, and

Robert W Chambers. Robin's actually wrote one of the earliest novels about a
