We're ending our little series on the Songs of Ascent today.

We've introduced ourselves to the songs, and then we've gone through the three movements.

The songs of us sent are 15 Psalms comprised of three groups of five.

Yes.

And we've looked at the first group, the second group, and now we look at the last group of five songs, comprising Psalm 130 to Psalm 134.

And each time we've started these, you've kind of given me a big idea on the journey back

from exile. So if we're like thinking conceptually about these last five, what's the big idea

or the situation, the loose situation that we're imagining ourselves in in these last five?

Well, you did see the first one was the clearest. Yes. This one might rival it.

Okay.

So hopefully this will help.

But this one begins in the watery depths.

Okay.

And ascends to the heights of heaven.

Okay.

And so that's the big idea in terms of geography.

The depths of darkness in Babylon, the heights of God is God. So that's one. The other one is
