I wanted to mention we've had a number of people that have asked us for an update on Michelle Kendall and already sent a text update. I'm just going to read it to you.

And we just need to continue to pray. He says, continued prayers please. Michelle had the vocal court

injection yesterday and is now on three days of complete vocal rest

and he has in all caps no talking, not even a whisper. Not easy for a woman who is 25% Portuguese.

Hope it was okay if I read that, Artie. If not, you have to forgive me. This whole thing is due to a paralyzed right vocal cord, which is likely caused by the prolonged intubation in ICU. She will have another modified barium swallow test tomorrow. The results of this test will help determine her ability to swallow. Even a very good result will probably only graduate her to nectar consistency with hopes of gradual improvement. We are hoping for a proper swallow and an avoidance of any aspersion. I think that means aspiration. Anyway, at the earliest,

we might be discharged in the beginning of next week, which would be, I mean, amazing. We have

every hope that the nerves affecting the vocal cord will spontaneously resolve themselves, as is typical

Prayers to this end are fervently sought, as without this, it is likely additional invasive
