And tonight we are Lord willing going to get from Psalm 52 to Psalm 55, so we better get to it.

Father in heaven, thank you so much for your word and, Lord, thank you for this church.

Thank you for this beautiful building that you've given us to be able to meet in and come together on a Thursday night and have our Bible study and especially here in the Psalms.

What a rich blessing it is to study through these Psalms.

Lord, tonight, would you bless our time together in your word?

Would you minister to us?

Would you speak to us?

Will you reveal to us what it is that you have for us tonight?

Lord, we want to commit to you our time, this time, and our study of your word, and we ask your blessing on it in Jesus' name. Amen.

Psalm 52.

This is a very interesting Psalm as we're going to see. We're given quite a bit of detail

by way of a title and a preface to the Psalm. We're told that it's to the chief musician and it's a
