Let's get into the word. Can't wait. We left off two weeks ago. Psalm 134. So you know we're almost done with the book of Psalms, right?

You know what the book after the book of Psalms is that we're going to be stuck. I know, right? I love that. The book of Proverbs. Oh my goodness. My you know right yeah so you know what my

favorite book of the Bible is it's the book that we're currently in that's my

favorite book in all of the Bible so right now it's the Psalms and we're making

our way through chapter by chapter Lord willing tonight we will make

it from Psalm 135 through to Psalm 138 so why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our time together

in His word.

Thank you, Lord.

Loving Heavenly Father, we're so thankful to you for your word

and for this amazing book of Psalms that we have been studying through

for several months now, actually, on Thursday nights.

We're coming to Psalms tonight that are no exception to the rule and that rule is that your word is alive and active.

It comes to life and it speaks into our life very clearly, very personally, for right where we're at in our lives as only you can through your word.

So Lord, tonight as we now have this time together in your word, would you help us to just kind

of get rid of all the busyness and the distractions of the day of the week of our lives,

of our busy lives and our lives are busy. And just Lord, enable us to have this sanctuary

of sorts, this safe place, this beautiful church building that you've given us that

is nice and cool with the air conditioning and it's comfortable with the seating. And so now we can

just focus on you and your word and what you have for us tonight. So Lord, we're

really looking forward to what it is that you're going to minister to us in Jesus' name. Amen.

All right, let's jump in. First one, Psalm 135. I love how this starts praise the Lord praise the name of the Lord praise

him oh you servants of the Lord you who stand in the house of the, in the courts of the house of our God.
