Let's get into the word. We are almost, if you can imagine, I don't know, for those of you who

count, but I don't know how long have we been in the book of Psalms. Six months? No, come on. Wow.

Tough crowd. So it hasn't been that long. It's been probably three months maybe. So but we're almost done.

And then I cannot wait, I mean seriously, I cannot wait to get to the book of Proverbs as we

make our trek through the Bible, book by book and chapter by chapter and verse by verse.

I'm sorry, I'm just going to say it. I know you're tired of me saying

it, but the book of Proverbs is my favorite book in all of the Bible along with Psalms. And then,

anyway, so tonight we're going to pick it up in Psalm 131, and we are going to, Lord willing,

make it to Psalm 134.

So why don't we pray and then we'll ask God to bless our time together in His word.

Loving Heavenly Father, we are so grateful to you for your word and for these Thursday night Bible studies that we have here in this beautiful church that you've given us.

Lord, it's that time for us during the week where we can

put aside all the busyness of the week, all the cares and the affairs and just the busyness of our

daily lives and come to this beautiful place, open up our Bibles,

and just hear you speak into our lives as you always do and as only you can

in that still small voice of the Holy Spirit.

And tonight's no exception, Lord. We're really

looking forward to what you have for us in these Psalms that are before us tonight. And so we

ask your blessing, Lord, on our time together and your word, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen. And amen. All all right let's jump in you probably already

noticed for those of you who read ahead to stay ahead that these are some short

Psalms I think for the exception of one of these songs like this one is only three

verses but oh my goodness. So much in it.
