Summary

Lessons from Psalms 120123 include: Life is an ascent. We come to God as sinners looking for salvation; we go on to sanctification as we grow in grace and in the knowledge of Christ. The Lord is able to keep us, and He is also the keeper of Israel. He keeps us both day and night; He never sleeps.

We welcome you aboard the Bible bus today, friends, and we are going up to Jerusalem today.

0:41.8

We are going up with about the next 15 Psalms. It's what the children of Israel sang when they

0:50.3

went up to Jerusalem to the feast, and so the Bible bus is going to take that trip, and these

and they're marvelous, wonderful Psalms. We're coming today to Psalm 120, and we trust you have

1:13.9

your Bible and notes as you get on the bus, and if you do not have the notes, all you have to do

1:19.9

is ride in and ask for them. We still have a bit to go in our study of Psalms, so if you haven't

1:28.9

yet gotten your copy of Dr. McGee's free notes and outlines, they're available in a couple of

1:33.1

different ways. First, you can download them by individual book, but even better, you can get a

1:37.9

complete set of notes and outlines for all 66 books in one digital book called Briefing the Bible.

1:43.6

You can download your free copy at ttb.org. Also, we have an abridged paperback version that's

1:49.3

available and will happily send you one free copy, but additional paperbacks can also be purchased

1:54.7

as well. And by the way, my favorite way is to read Briefing the Bible on the Kindle app. Again,

1:59.4

you can find all the details at ttb.org or call us at 1-800-65-Bible if we can help. Now,

2:06.0

we got just enough time to share a couple of letters from our fellow passengers on the Bible bus.

2:10.5

First, actually not a letter, but a Facebook post from a listener named Mark. God's Providence

2:15.5

is amazing. The Book of Esther was where I first began listening to Dr. McGee over 25 years ago,
