Two Psalms tonight, Psalms 117 and 118, Lord willing.

And we're going to pick it up where we left off last week with Psalm 116 as we make our trek through this most amazing book of Psalms.

Of course, Lord willing, next Thursday we will commence with our study of the longest

Psalm the longest chapter technically in all of the Bible Psalm 119 so really looking forward to that as well

interesting as we're about to see Psalm Psalm 117, the shortest chapter in the

entire Bible, two chapters away, two Psalms away from the longest chapter in the Bible. So only two

verses, but are they packed full? So as again we'll see here in a moment so

why don't we pray if you would join with me we'll ask God to bless our Bible study tonight Loving Heavenly Father,

We are so grateful to you for your word.

We are so thankful to you for the book of Psalms.

It has been such a tremendous blessing to us in our lives.

Lord tonight, it's no exception with the two Psalms that we have before us.

And as such is with a great anticipation that we look to you, expecting you to speak very clearly and powerfully into our lives and in through your

word here in the Psalms or there's so much here for us and we don't want to

leave it here at the end of the Bible study we want to be able to take with us that which you have

here for us and desire to minister to us. So Lord, would you at this time as you're always so

faithful to and as only you can enable us by the power of the Holy Spirit to give you our undivided

attention so that no distraction will enter our minds and rob us, steal from us, that which you

want to speak to us.

So Lord, speak.

Your servants are listening and we thank you for it's in Jesus' name we pray.
