Welcome to Through the Bible with Dr. J. Vernon McGee. I'm your host, Steve Schwetz,

inviting you to grab your copy of God's Word and open it to Psalm 107.

And while you do that, I want to ask Greg Harris through the Bible's president one question.

Okay, I am ready, Steve. Okay, here it is. If we could pray or intercede for just one thing

for through the Bible as a member of the world prayer team myself, what would it be?

Well, it's always hard to narrow it down to one, but I would say the cry of my heart and all of us

in leadership, because you're also the chairman of our Board of Directors is guidance. Yeah,

I put that right there too. Yeah, because it's rooted in so many values that we have here

at Through the Bible that we only do the will of God. We don't want to come up with human

agendas. We simply want to do what God wants us to do and we want to be faithful stewards.

And when you have a ministry going out in over 200 languages and I can't even count the number

of different distribution systems we have. The complexity is daunting. Exactly. And so

while we are so encouraged, we know that if you don't pray for us for God's wisdom,

leadership and discernment, we won't be able to achieve all the things that we want,

which is to be good stewards. James chapter one says, if you relax wisdom, let him ask of God,

who gives generously and without reproach. So we need that wisdom and we're asking you to pray for

for that wisdom. So if you're on the world prayer team, just tack it on to that daily email and

oh, by the way, Lord, pray for the wisdom of the leadership that they'd make the right decisions.

But seriously, we do need that and we cover your prayers in that area.
