Lord, would you just calm us and center us and settle us so that we're not having our minds

We want to give you our undivided attention so that you can speak

into our lives as you are always so faithful to in and through your word that's

why we're here tonight Lord we're here because we're hungry and we're thirsty

and we know that only you can satiate that hunger and that thirst that we have.

Lord, it's always amazing how it is that your word is alive and active and it doesn't matter

let's get started with Psalm 102, very interesting and encouraging Psalm.

We're told that it is a prayer of the afflicted when he is overwhelmed and pours out his

complaint before the Lord.

That's a pretty descriptive title, isn't it? Have you ever been overwhelmed?

Yeah, me neither. Let's just close in prayer and we'll bring it to an end. Oh my goodness.

What an encouraging Psalm. Verse one, hear my prayer, O Lord, and let my cry come to you.

Do not hide your face from me in the day of my trouble.

Incline your ear to me in the day that I call, answer me speedily.

That's a good prayer, by the way.
