Hey everyone, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible verse by verse with intentionality and joy and all of that good stuff.

Been really enjoying this walk through the Psalms today. I'm going to be reading Psalm 96 and Psalm 97 in the World English Bible and this is what 96 says, and I'll pray after each one.

Sing to Yahweh a new song.

Sing to Yahweh all the earth. Sing to Yahweh.

Bless his name.

Proclaim his salvation from day to day.

Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous works among all the peoples. For Yahweh is great and

greatly to be praised. He is to be feared above all gods. For all the gods of the peoples are idols,

but Yahweh made the heavens. Honor and majesty are before him. Strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.

Ascribe to Yahweh, you families of nations,

ascribe to Yahweh, glory and strength. Ascribe to Yahweh, the glory do his name. Bring an offering and come into his courts. Bring Yahweh and worship Yahweh and holy array. Tremble before him all

the earth. Say among the nations, Yahweh reigns, the world is also

established. It cannot be moved. He will judge the peoples with equity. Let the heavens be glad and

let the earth rejoice. Let the sea roar and its fullness. Let the field and all that is in it

exult. Then all the trees of the woods

shall sing for joy before Yahweh, for he comes. For he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the

world with righteousness, the peoples with his truth. Mind if I pray for you. Lord, that's what I'm longing

for. I'm longing to see your righteousness and your truth and your

judgment. But I also know that my heart is brokenhearted over the state of this world, and I also know

that I need your grace, and I'm so grateful that when you look upon me, you see Jesus in his sacrifice

for me, Christ as victor over my sin, and I'm so glad for that.
