Welcome to episode four of the video series entitled Understanding Psalm 83. In the first three episodes, we introduced and explored Psalm 83, and explained that it's both a prayer and a prophecy.

In the next couple episodes, we're going to connect the correlating prophecies.

I call them the peripheral prophecies, the fine association with the song,

and also identify the preacher of relation timingcation timing of the psalm.

So in this episode, we're going to take a closer look at the Israeli defense forces

at war with the people groups of Psalm 83.

You see them identified on the screen here by their modern-day equivalents.

We've got the IDF versus Syria, the idea of versus

Jordan, the Palestinians, the Saudis, the Gaza or Hamas are, Egypt, Lebanon, and

Gazbalah are, and collectively all of these identified as the Arab neighbors. And some of these trees are identified by their ancient names,

they are seen on the map here, Amin, Moab, Edom, that would represent modern-day Jordan.

These Israelites would be Saudi Arabia. Higurines would represent Egypt, Amalek the Sinai,

Felicia the Gaza, Tyran Gubal, Lebanon, and Assyria back then would represent

modern-day northern Iraq and northern Syria. These people groups grew up open war-related prophecies

and within about 140 verses

in the Old Testament,

including Psalm 83's 18

verses, war-related prophecies against

Israel. I write about that
