Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by verse.

And this book is beautiful, Friends. It's put out by

Tyndale. It is a hardcover. It's about an inch thick. It's for ages, probably like six to tenish

right around there. The illustrations are absolutely, absolutely stunning. I hope that the stories

are great, too. We worked hard on them,

but we are tracing the metaphor of light through the eyes of John, through the whole Bible.

So you have Old Testament and New Testament stories. And Sophie and I were responsible each for half.

So I wrote 15 and she wrote 15. And it was really a challenge to learn how to

take complex theological thought and bring it down to a child's view. So it's a beautiful book and it

would be a great Easter gift. Anyway, thanks to Tyndale for creating this book and thanks

to the movie Light of the World who brought it into fruition. Today I'm reading from Psalm 72

in the World English Bible and this is a song by Solomon. God give the king your justice, your

righteousness to the royal son.

He will judge your people with righteousness and your poor with justice.

The mountains shall bring prosperity to the people, the hills bring the fruit of righteousness.

He will judge the poor of the people. He will save the children of the needy and will break the oppressor in

pieces. They shall fear you while the sun endures, and as long as the moon throughout all

generations, he will come down like rain on the moan grass, as showers that water the earth.

In his days the righteous shall flourish, an abundance of peace until the moon is no more.
