Hey everyone, this is Mary DeMuth and this is Pray Every Day where I pray through the Bible verse by verse.

All right, today I'm reading from Psalm 60 and 61 in the World English Bible, and this is what they say.

Psalm 60 says, for the chief musician to the tune of the lily of the covenant, a teaching poem by David when he fought with Aram Naraheim and with Aram Zobba and Joab returned and killed 12,000 of Edom in the valley of salt.

God, you have rejected us, you have broken us down. You have been angry. Restore us again. You have made the land tremble. You have torn it.

Mend its fractures. For it quakes. You have shown your people hard things. You have made us drink
