How do sheep end up in a dark valley? Nancy DeMoss Walgamuth tells us,

psalm in the whole 150 Psalms in the scripture. And maybe one of the most familiar passages

in all of God's word, and that is Psalm

23. So if you're following along in your scripture, and you can open to that, that's what we're

going to look at today. Now, Psalm 23 falls in the middle of three Psalms of David that form a

trilogy, Psalm 22, 23, and 24. These three Psalms, in an unusual way,

point to David's greater son, the Messiah. So in the last session, we looked at Psalm 22, and there

we see Jesus prophetically depicted as the suffering Savior.

And then we come to Psalm 23, and we see him depicted as the good shepherd.
