Hey there, this is Mary Demuth and this is Pray Every Day where I have the joy and privilege

of praying you through the Bible verse by verse on this third day of May. I hope you're having an

amazing day. Today I'm going to do a little something different because we're going to be going

through four Psalms today, 125, 126, 127, 128 in the World English Bible. Instead of stopping after each one,

I'm going to read through all four, and then I will pray for you according to those words that I've read.

So this is how we're going to do it today. This Psalm 125 is also a song of ascents, what they would

sing on their way up to Jerusalem.

That's why it has the word ascent, or you can think about ascending a mountain.

Those who trust in Yahweh are as Mount Zion, which can't be moved, but remains forever.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so Yahweh surrounds his people from this time forward and forevermore

for the sceptre of wickedness won't remain over the allotment of the righteous so that the

righteous won't use their hands to do evil do good Yahweh to those who are good to those who are

upright in their hearts but as for those who turn away to their crooked ways,

Yahweh will lead them away with the workers of iniquity, peace beyond Israel.

Psalm 126, a Psalm of a Sense.

When Yahweh brought us back, brought back those who returned to Zion, we were like those who dream. Then our mouth was filled

with laughter and our tongue was singing. Then they said among the nations, Yahweh has done great

things for them. Yahweh has done great things for us and we are glad. Restore our fortunes again,

Yahweh, like the streams and the Negev.

Those who sow in tears will reap in joy.

He who goes about weeping, carrying seeds for sowing, will certainly come again with joy, carrying his sheaves.
