richly bless you as you seek to serve him. Psalm 121 teaches us how to cry to God, and it shows us how sometimes when we cry to God

to just get us out of whatever mess we're in and that pressure cook of life, but he cries to God

differently. When he, the psalmist, cries to God, he is praying in confidence in the Lord.

He's crying to him with a total trust in the Lord. He cries to him with an absolute assurance in the character of God and who he is,

Sometimes the way we pray, remind me of a story that Vance Havner, the old evangelist, used to tell about an elderly

lady who had many troubles. Some of them are imaginary or some were real, and a family

are trying to do everything they could. And finally, one of the grandchildren said to her,

I said, Grandma, we have done everything that we could do for you.

Now the only thing left is for you to trust the Lord. And then there was a terror on her face
