the longest chapter in all of the Bible.

And tonight we're going to pick it up in verse 73.

And we left off last week in verse 72.

And Lord willing, we'll make our way to verse 104 tonight.

So we're almost there.

We're taking our time and going through this Psalm section

by section, all 22 of them. Eight verses in each section of this Psalm corresponding with

a letter of the Hebrew alphabet, which is very interesting. It's poetic in that sense, but profound

in every sense of the word. And it is a Psalm about the Word of God and how appropriate, right?

The longest chapter in all of the Word of God is about the Word of God. So why don't we pray and we'll

ask God to bless our time together tonight in His Word.

Loving Heavenly Father, we are so thankful to you for our Thursday night Bible study where we can just all come together here in this beautiful church building that you've

given us, especially with the AC.

We thank you for the AC. And Lord, we also thank you for thank you for what you're going to do tonight in our time together. Lord, we also thank you for what you're going to do tonight in our time together.

Lord, we need for you, though, to settle our hearts, as we're going to see tonight in Psalm 119.

Settle our hearts with your word that is settled in heaven.

And enable us, Lord, to by the Holy Spirit, as only you can focus our attention and give you our undivided attention so that we can concentrate and listen and have

hearts to receive and not only hear your word but take heed to your word as well. Lord,

thank you. In Jesus' name, amen. All right, let's jump in. Verse 73. Your hands have made me and fashioned me. Give me understanding

that I may learn your commandments.

Those who fear you, this is interesting verse 74, will be glad when they see me

because I have hoped in your word.
