The Psalms tonight, on Thursday night, we're going through the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter, and verse by verse.

And tonight we find ourselves in Psalm 119.

We started last week in this amazing Psalm, and we left off in verse 32, so we'll pick it up verse 33 tonight and Lord willing make our way through to

verse 56 as I mentioned to you last week we are not in a hurry to get through this Psalm and I don't

think you mind there's just so much here in this Psalm that I believe the Lord has for us.

And so why don't we pray?

And we'll ask God to bless our time tonight together in His Word. Loving Heavenly Father, we're gathered here together today again on a Thursday night.

And we're here, Lord, tonight, because this for us is really the highlight of our week,

especially for those of us who have had one of those weeks, a busy week.

It's that time where we can just set aside all the busyness of our lives

and come to this beautiful church that you've given us and open up our Bibles and even open up our

hearts so that we can receive from you as you speak into our lives as only you can and as you always do.

So Lord, as we commit our Bible study to you tonight, would you speak in that still small voice in and through your word chiefly concerning the power of your

word in our lives. So Lord, thank you. Thank you for this amazing book of Psalms and thank you for this chapter here we have in

the book of Psalms.

In Jesus' name, amen.

So before we jump in, I want to just mention a couple things by way of introduction,

especially as it relates to how unique this chapter is in the Psalm.

Psalm 119, I keep saying it, it's so amazing, and there's a reason for that.

Not only is it the longest chapter in the Word of God,

it's the chapter in the Word of God about the Word of God and what the Word of God is to a believer.
