Hey everyone, it's Mary DeMuth, and this is Pray Every Day, where I pray you through the Bible verse by

verse with joy and intention and all the things. I'm super grateful to have you here on this 21st day of April,

and today I'll be reading from two Psalms, Psalm 108 and 109 in the World English Bible,

and as usual, I will pause after each one to pray for you

according to that particular psalm. And it's been such a delight to be able to do that for you.

And thank you for, you know, just basically you're hopping into my office with me because that's

where I'm recording these at a stand-up desk and welcome into this little space, this little

holy space of experiencing God's word and just

interceding. All right. So Psalm 108 is a song, a Psalm by David. My heart is steadfast, God. I will sing

and I will make music with my soul. Wake up, harp, and liar. I will wake up at the dawn.

I will give thanks to you, Yahweh, among the nations.

I will sing praises to you among the people.

For your loving kindness is great above the heavens.

Your faithfulness reaches to the skies.

Be exalted, God above the heavens.

Let your glory be over all the earth, that your beloved may be

delivered. Save with your right hand and answer us. God has spoken from a sanctuary. In triumph,

I will divide Shechem and measure out the valley of Seccath. Gilead is mine, Manasa is mine,

Ephraim also is my helmet. Judah is my scepter, Moab is my washpot,

I will toss my sandal on Edom and I will shout over Philistia. Who will bring me into the fortified

city? Who will lead me to Edom? Haven't you rejected us, God? You don't go don't go out god with our armies give us help against the enemy

for the help of man is vain through god we will do valiantly for it is he who will tread down our enemies
