Hello orphans, we're going to do two episodes this week because I thought it was important to provide a normal, fun, reasonably uplifting episode yesterday with Jack and Brian without getting overly bogged down in the Corona apocalypse.

But I am also, like you, trying to make sense of all this.

So let's kick off our analysis of the coronavirus

with a good old Buddhist analogy bear with me this will not initially

make sense but I promise I'll bring it around and it will when people get into

Buddhism particularly Americans they are initially fixated on reincarnation.

How does it work? Am I reincarnated with my family? Can I come back as a dog?

Are genders locked? Was I ever a famous person and can I find out because that would be

great for my ego in this life. And the Buddhist response is, look, the point of all of this is to eliminate suffering.

You've basically been shot, and you're bleeding,

and you're wanting to know what the caliber of the bullet is,

and talk about what kind of gun fired it and if dueling is still

legal in New Jersey and if you can buy a flintlock pistol on eBay and did we see

Hamilton because it's really quite good and the Buddha says buddy our first priority here is to deal with the bullet wound.

You're in pain and we need to tend this flesh crater.
