My name is Prue Leith, and I'm mostly a cook, but tend to get my fingers stuck in other pies.

So for my guest editing of the Today program, the first thing I'd like to discuss is everybody's lockdown hobbies.

But during lockdown, I have taken up the craft of letterpress printing.

These machines were really early 20th century and they are beautiful.

I've got two little Adana machines and they are good solid bits of cast metal.

I had to scrub it up, get it oil, clean it, remove the rust. I did have to go and buy some new rollers.

But then you've got so many things that you can do.

His brother was selling it and, so he came with mouse poo and stuff in.

I had to give everything a good scrub up and get set up this space.

My main purpose, my main target was to make my own Christmas cards this year. So I have made,

I think I'm going with this one, which is feast and good cheer, and then it's got a linocut of a

steaming Christmas pudding. I could do it at home. I could do a little bit in the morning

before I sit down at my laptop. It's been so enjoyable for me, a real joy. Yeah, it has been a joy. And I'm not done yet, so there's lots more things to do.
