Hello and welcome back to Sociology 101.

We're going to be talking about provisionism and how it's represented by those who don't agree with us.

Sometimes it's represented in very bad ways,

as we've explored with Dr. James White, for example. He is one of the worst at representing us,

unfortunately. He's not a good faith interlocutor in that sense. He's not trying to represent

us correctly from what I can tell. But there are others out there who are being more fair in their representations. Some of them

may be missing the mark a little bit, but not intentionally, like it seems like others are doing.

Sometimes it seems like people are trying to misrepresent us in order to boogeyman us or to the scare

tactics and all these kinds of things

or to make us sound as bad as possible. And that's just not a good faith interlocutor. It's not

wise probably to waste too much time dealing with those who aren't willing to at least understand

you before they engage with you.

As I've heard it said, you need to be able to first say I understand before you can say I disagree.

And you need to honestly strive to understand the other side.

Now, I know I've been accused of not understanding Calvinism, but of course, Calvinism is not a monolithic group.

There are many different types of Calvinists. And I dare say anyone who would like to take up this challenge

to find anyone from the Calvinist side that is a notable Calvinistic scholar online,

doing broadcast or something of that sort,

that has done as much as I have done for Calvinists

to properly represent them, having them on the program,

playing them for themselves and their own words, reading from their confessions and their documents and their books. Very few Calvinists are willing to do that for us, and we are doing

that for them on a regular basis. And so I'm trying to set the standard high as far as our
