Welcome to our Rosedere meditation.

Let's begin in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.

It's called to mind all those we've promised to pray for.

Both the fear of suffering and the fear of death arise from the fear of loss.

Suffering is the fear of the loss of some worldly thing,

while death is the loss of everything in this world.

In Matthew chapter 10 Jesus provides the solution to the fear of loss.

He tells his followers that heaven is the goal, not this life, and that we should live our faith openly and speak the truth boldly,

and we are not to be anxious because God is our father and he is taking care of us.

Our father who art in heaven, hallow would be your name.

Thy kingdom come, they will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

With us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who

trespass against us and lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

Amen.
