for those of you who are watching, if you're watching live or later, we are so glad that you're

joining with us. Tonight, we are in Proverbs chapter 30 on Thursday nights. We've been studying

the Bible, book by book, and chapter by chapter, verse by verse, and we're almost done with the book

of Proverbs. And so one more chapter after tonight,

so you might want to turn there at this time. And then also for those of you watching online,

at the end of the study tonight, we are going to be partaking together of Communion. So you might want to at this time maybe get the

elements ready and then at the conclusion of our study we will partake together and

just grape juice and a cracker or peter bread works good if possible unleavened bread without yeast if not that's okay

you'd be surprised the kind of elements that people use symbolically to celebrate communion but we're

really looking forward to that as you know we moved our communion service from sunday to the first Thursday of the month so we're really looking forward to that. As you know, we moved our communion service from Sunday to the first Thursday of the month.

Loving Heavenly Father, thank you so much for your word and for our time together tonight in this your church.

Lord, I pray as our Bibles are open, that so too would our hearts be open to receive, that

which you would desire to minister to us tonight.

Lord, speak into our lives.

We come to you, broken really, honestly.

As we see what's happening in the world today, it's so heartbreaking.

And this time together tonight represents for us a safe sanctuary, a place that we can come and just fellowship together

and commune with you and you with us.

So Lord, would you, as only you can, just help us to not be distracted by everything and just be
