we are going to pick it up where we left off in Proverbs chapter 28 as we make our trek through the

Bible book by book and chapter by chapter and verse by verse we have an interesting chapter before us

tonight it's a chapter that has these contrasting proverbs and the contrast that we're in store for tonight is stark to say the least.

The contrast between the righteous and the unrighteous, the wise and the foolish, the evil, the wicked, and the good.

So why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our time together in

his word if you would join with me. Loving Heavenly Father, we're so grateful to you for this

beautiful church building that you've given us that we can come to on a Thursday night and just put aside all the

busyness of our day and the hectic lives that we have and put all that aside and just

give you our attention as we focus on that which you have for us here in your word tonight, Lord,

we're with great anticipation longing for you, hungry and thirsty for you to speak into our lives

and satiate that hunger and that thirst that we have. Lord, we want our time

together in your word to have the much needed impact on our lives, that which we're

going to see here tonight, that which we're going to hear tonight. Lord, I pray that

we would take heed to your word in Jesus' name. Amen. And amen. All right, let's jump in.
