Okay, Proverbs chapter 21 tonight, maybe 22, but I emphasize, highlight, underscore,

the word maybe, because we've been doing about a chapter a week in our trek through the Bible,

book by book and chapter by chapter and verse by verse. This book of Proverbs, I think you would agree,

has been such a blessing as we study through it, so packed full of so much wisdom and practical life

application wisdom in every area of life. So we're going to see that again tonight

in chapter 21. Why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our time together in his word if

you would join with me. Thank you Lord. Lord thank you for your word and thank you for those that are here tonight.

Lord, there's just a genuine hunger and thirst for that which only you can satiate in and through your word.

It's the bread of life. It's the water of life. And so Lord, would you

satiate that hunger that we have? We come to these Bible studies on a Thursday night and many of us

are here after a busy day, a busy week and such hectic schedules.

And this represents for us that time where we can just put aside all of that and just focus

our attention on you and your word and open up our hearts and our ears and our eyes to receive

that which you have for us tonight.

So Lord bless our time together we pray in Jesus' name.
