Welcome to Through the Bible, I'm Steve Schwartz inviting you to another great study with our teacher

Dr. J. Vernon McK Vernon McGee and we're in the

book of proverbs today in our five-year study of the whole word of God. But first if

you're a new listener, welcome aboard. We're so glad that you are now a part of our listening family that joins us today in more than 250 languages worldwide.

Now as you begin this journey there are a few things that will be helpful for you to know.

First, our five-year tour of the

Bible alternates between the old and new testaments, teaching from every book and

every chapter. Now today we're in the Old Testament book of Proverbs, but it

really doesn't matter where you start. You just

hop aboard and in five short years you'll make it through all 66 books. Now if you'd

rather go at your own pace or maybe your own book study you'll find several ways to listen

at TTB.org and the best way really is to download our app from your app store.

Second we provide Dr. McGee's free notes and outlines to help you get the most out of each lesson.

Those are built into our app as well, by the way.

And you can also download any individual book on TTB.org.

And then we also offer a digital download

of all the notes and outlines compiled

in one book called Briefing the Bible.
