Lord willing, I have to preface it because of what happened last week, for those of you who were here last week, you know what happened last week.

We thought that we would get to chapter 12, but we only made it through one chapter, chapter 11.

So we're going to pick it up tonight in chapter 12

and Lord willing, by faith, make it through to chapter 13. We'll see how it goes, not in a hurry.

And I know you don't mind because we want to take our time and give the Holy Spirit the elbow

room as it were to speak into our lives in through this amazing book of Proverbs.

Just the wisdom and the richness that is woven into the fabric of the pages

of this book.

So why don't we pray and we'll ask God to bless our time tonight in His Word if you

would join with me.

Lord thank you for our Bible study tonight.

Thank you for this book of Proverbs that we're in tonight. Lord, that's why we're here tonight really. We're here because we want to hear

you speak into our lives by the Holy Spirit in and through your word.

We look forward to this time on Thursday nights that we can come to this beautiful church building

that you've given us and put aside all the busyness of our day and week and all the cares

and the affairs of our lives and just give you our undivided attention

so you can minister to us, speak to us. And so Lord, would you bless our time together

in your word, we pray. In Jesus' name, amen.
