where last night a journalist was shot dead

as some of the worst riots in decades took place in Derry.

Dissident IRA groups are now being blamed for the terrorist incident which resulted from hours of petrol bombing, attacks on the police and stone-throwing

demonstrators. Now, I don't know about you, but that is one of the worst headlines I think

I've seen all of this year. I thought we've been told that a hard border in Ireland would mean

a return to the bad old days of the troubles. Well, guess what? It looks to me as though the troubles have never actually gone away. We'll be crossing
