Good morning and welcome to the Independent Republic of Mike Graham on Talk Radio. It is very clear, very, very clear, ladies and

gentlemen, that things are going pretty badly wrong. I don't think I've been quite so angry

throughout this coronavirus lockdown as I am this morning, ladies and gentlemen. I don't think

I've been quite so disgusted by the behaviour of the baying mob last night that desecrated

the Senator for War Memorial in the name of Black Lives Matter.

I don't think I've been quite so horrified by the behaviour of our own police taking the knee

instead of arresting the violent thugs that they were trying to appease from Hyde Park to Downing Street.

The scenes last night in central London gave the lie to any claim that the city and its citizens

are under the protection

of the Metropolitan Police. For a couple of hours, those streets were in the hands

of the mob. Officers were attacked and pushed over, members of the public were punched to the

ground, marauding gangs of thugs roamed freely without fear of arrest, encouraged by

idiotic politicians like Labour MP Barry Gardner, who joined in the quite

frankly reckless and dangerous protest without social distancing. These virtue signalling planks now

claim they were protesting not just the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis, but police brutality.

Well, I can tell you this, the only brutality I saw was against the police, not by the police.

This morning,

Susan Hall joins us from City Hall to call on London Mayor Sadiq Khan to clamp down on these

ridiculous demonstrations and these ridiculously violent morons because there's two more planned

for this weekend. Quite simply, they are a magnet for anarchists, for criminals and for middle-class

revolutionaries. Stop them now.
