It looks like the march has now turned off of Washington after hermitage,

but we are about 50 feet in front of the banners.

We're here now.

How do you feel in this moment?

I feel like people are starting to finally wake up to what the U.S.

has been doing since the existence of the United States.

And it really gives me hope even at horrible times like these,

that with enough people waking up,

that there will be a liberation for Palestine

and for people all over the world that are oppressed.

Sounds like you're fully committed.

Yeah, definitely.

How long have you been involved with the protests?

Probably since March.

Yeah.

And how much did you know about the issue beforehand?

I didn't really know much, to be honest.

I remember seeing a few videos about Israelis detaining children

maybe in the early 2000s and I didn't really put the dots together until recently,

which you know it's a long time but I'm glad that I finally made that connection Yeah, I'm just wanting to be here and help in any way that I can.
