everything is on display. And I am prone to say that that's a good thing.

This is Karen Atia. She's the Global Opinions Editor at the Washington Post. In recent

days, she has offered powerful commentary on the protests sweeping the nation. Atia

published a satirical op-ed in the post about how Western media would cover the protests

if they were taking place abroad. Since joining the post in 2014, she has expanded international

visibility and diversity at the paper, including by bringing on the late Jamal Kashoggi, who was

murdered at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in October 2018. We talk about the burgeoning
