One way, conscious parenting coach Yolanda Williams says, is for us, the caregivers,

When I got pregnant with my first child, I had this delusion that I was going to be the perfect mom,

the best mom in the whole wide world. Do you remember when we were pregnant with Audrey? What was I

like? Oh yeah, very much. You know, you were so enthusiastic and so driven to make sure that this

child had everything she needed. You weren't driven to give this kid

all the things that you never had. You were driven to make sure that this kid got everything she
