Summary

From romance to rage, adoration online to in-person obsession, this episode is a cautionary tale about stalking.

Stalking stories have captured the country’s attention with hugely popular shows that follow encounters that spark fixation but it’s not always fiction. We’ll explore the challenges victims often face seeking safeguards while living in fear of potential physical harm. Is a restraining or protective order just a piece of paper? Or a powerful first tool for the victim’s protection? We’ll get an inside look in the mind of stalkers/abusers. A handsome, young, fitness trainer is being stalked by a female stranger who tells us why she won’t stop.  We’ll meet a woman who at just 18 ended a summer fling that drove the man to intense harassment and murder of a different woman and we’ll meet a father whose daughter was killed by her ex with an ax, despite a protective order.
