Stokes about iron deficiency and why it's a feminist issue. Had two conversations about people who

are iron deficient recently, so I shall tell them to listen. There will be a rated or dated, of course,

when we will be watching Pamela Anderson's

Barb wire. What joy. And on Friday, I'll be talking to Laura Jackson, deputy head of travel

at the Times and the Sunday Times, about how everything going on in the world at the moment

might affect if and when you can take a holiday this year. But onto this podcast, in which I am talking to journalist and author Kate Snell,

about her new book, The Care Home Swindler, which recounts the case of David Barton,

the Southport-based care home owner who prayed on wealthy elderly residents to fund a lavish lifestyle.

He was jailed for 21 years in 2018, but is now out of prison.

Kate and I chat about Barton's ambitious and self-serving project,

as well as the system that allowed him to do it.
